TAINÁ ZAGONEL

Este proyecto fue diseñado durante mi beca en Kingston Universiy. El objetivo era proponer una extensión del cementerio de Woodland en Estocolmo (Suecia), que es parte del patrimonio mundial de UNESCO. Teníamos que estudiar el sitio y sus alrededores para crear una poética
paisaje y edificios que respeten el proyecto actual diseñado por Gunnar Asplund y Sigurd Lewerentz, también mirar con cuidado acerca de la relación del paisaje con el edificio y las partes existentes. Piensar sobre los nuevos caminos del cementerio existente para la extensión sin hacer muchas modificaciones. El cementerio tiene 2 pequeñas capillas y era necesario crear otro, para que se apliquen a todas las religiones.
El lugar elegido tenía una pendiente de 3 metros y una forma triangular.

This project was designed during my Schoolarship in Kingston Universiy. The goal was to propose an extention of the Woodland Cemetery
in Stockholm(Sweden), which its part of the world heritage UNESCO. We needed to study the site and suroundings to create a poetic
landscape and buildings that respect the current project designed by Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz, also look carefully about the relation of the landscape with the building and existing parts.  Think about new pathways from the existing cemetery to the extension without doing many modifications. The cemetery already have 2 small chapels, and its was necessary to create another one, for all religions to apply.

The chosen site had a slope of 3 meters and a triangular shape.
